The beginning of the «renewal policy» in Vietnam in 1986 and especially the latest decade were the start of an active process of "humanization" of main stages in the modern history of Vietnam. Different monographic studies, devoted to the research and understanding of the activities of particular creators of the new Vietnamese history, have been appeared. The two heroes of the national liberation movement of Vietnam — Le Hong Phong and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, whose lives and destiny are inseparably linked with the USSR — have been selected as main persons for this essay.

It was characterized by the struggle of women for gaining equal rights with men, increasing their social status, for participation in production services and activities.
